ADJUSTABLE DOG LEADS FAQ's

What is an adjustable dog lead?
An adjustable dog lead is one where the length of lead can be adjusted.
It can be adjusted using either a tri-glide adjuster or by a MAKITLANGA squeeze and slide adjuster. Triglides are generally used where the length of the lead after adjustment usually stays pretty constant whereas MAKITLANGA adjusters are used for more frequent length changes. 

Why is an adjustable dog lead useful?
Adjustable leads allow the dog owner to feel totally in control and comfortable on their walks whatever the variations in dog size. The VLCC20 adjustable dog lead with MAKITLANGA adjusters enables the lead to be used in 3 different configurations. Over the shoulder, around the waste, or as a long variable length lead. 

Can I change the length while walking my dog?
MAKITLANGA adjusters on the VLCC20 waterproof dog leads allow the length of the lead to be adjusted in seconds whilst walking the dog . 

MULTIPLE DOG WALKING LEADS FAQ's 

Can I walk two or more dogs using one dog lead system?
All of our leads are designed to be able to be used in a multi dog lead system. Simply choose the type of lead that is required for the dogs, be that fixed length or adjustable length. Connect to the specialised pear shaped connecter, then add the chosen type of lead for the handler to the same connector, add a detachable handle and that's it.

Can different dogs have different lead lengths?
Our lead system is specially designed to be able to walk different sizes of dogs. The ACC20 dog leads are particularly good for this and can get the dogs in the positions you want to have them in whilst walking. You can also colour code the leads so that you know which dog lead has been adjusted for which dog. 

What happens if one dog attempts to pull away?
Every one of our waterproof dog leads have an integral close control handle built in to the lead, approximately 450mm from the snap hook to the dog's collar or harness. This allows the dog handler to grab, with their free hand, the relevant close control handle on the particular dog which is pulling.
